Okay, so, I skipped-out on doing a movie yesterday. Hey, it's the weekend, and I was busy having fun. To make up for it, I've got two films for today. First up, we have....
Let's be real, yo. This is a stone-cold classic horror film. Released in 1979, Phantasm features the exploits of two brothers living alone together after the death of their family, ably-assisted by a trusted friend, trying to figure out if they mysterious mortician (known as The Tall Man) has anything to do with the rash of recent deaths in the town.
Phantasm takes some fairly weird twists and turns. It incorporates some sci-fi elements, and almost loses the plot. Almost. For the most part, it stays true to its horror roots. If you've watched a lot of scary movies, then you've probably seen this already. If you haven't, give it a look.
